Rabbi Teach Us to Pray by Aaron Eby

I am currently reading the short book listed above.  I highly recommend it, for its clarity and its scriptural underpinnings.  It quotes the Hebrew words for such things as prayer itself, and for the term disciple, and many other words which in context illuminate the meaning of the scriptures in ways our current culture does not condition us to read them.

Only 69 pages long, it has quite an impact.  I deeply appreciate the lessons we receive from Pastor Virginia Walsh of Prince of Peace.  She continually educates us as we go through the liturgical year.  In that spirit, I noted this publication available on Amazon.  This little book, Rabbi, should be easy for those who do not generally like to use reading for the continuing education our church requests of its clergy, not to mention the tendency most Celts have to read anything that can't run away.

I might have posted this under Critical Eye, but I didn't want to exclude anyone who skips those posts.  Do let me know what you think of it.  I suspect I will read it several times over.  It already has an unconscionable amount of yellow highlighting.
